COVID-19 INFORMATION

At Aqua Trails, we believe that outdoor activity and connection with nature benefits the body, mind, and spirit.  This is especially important as we learn our new normal in a world with COVID-19.  As an outdoor outfitter and tour provider, our top priority has always been our guests’ safety.  That hasn’t changed.  However, in order to ensure the safety of both guests and guides, we need to work together.

Our Commitment to You:

All PFDs (life jackets) are soaked in a sanitizing solution and dried in the sun after each use.

Kayak and paddleboard paddles are wiped with sanitizer after each use.

Kayaks and paddleboards are wiped with sanitizer after each use, with special attention to handles and areas that are frequently touched.

Strangers are never put into double kayaks together—only friends and family groups who book a double kayak.

Guides and Staff will wear face coverings, if advised by CDC, during paddle instruction time and during closer contact with guests (registration check-in, adjusting kayak seat fit, during tour breaks, taking payment, etc.)

Kayak and Paddleboard tours naturally lend themselves to social distancing on the water.

Tour sizes have always been managed according to a guide-to-guest ratio for safety.  That will never change.

What We Need from You:

Face Coverings are necessary, if advised by CDC, during closer contact periods before, during, and after your time on the water.  (Registration check in, paddle instruction time, adjusting kayak seat fit, during tour breaks, providing payment, etc.

Please be patient as we take the necessary time to sanitize our equipment between tours and rentals. 

When waiting for a tour to begin or rental equipment to be prepared, please do your part to maintain CDC advised distance from other guests, guides and staff.

Booking reservations in advance helps us to be prepared with equipment, and helps to cut down on both wait time and closer face-to-face contact.

By working together, we can help to protect each other and safely enjoy all the benefits of outdoor activity.  We look forward to seeing you this summer.
